The Evolution of Dad

The Evolution of Dad is a documentary film that shows a societal shift in fatherhood comprising of fathers being more active, present parents. The film is told from the perspective of Dana Glazer, a filmmaker with dreams of being a major Hollywood director who became an at-home dad. Filled with academic interviews and real-life fathers’ experiences, this film challenges the cultural and gender stereotypes that fathers face. In my opinion, The Evolution of Dad is an important film that can teach the public the importance of active, present fathers and break the gender stereotypes of at-home dads.

Awesome blog, James! I think this will be a great resource to a group of men who are often misunderstood. I hope you get a lot of participants.
